How to play
Attack a square. On your turn, pick any empty square.
Duel for it. You choose a strike and your opponent chooses a guard, both in secret: High, Medium or Low.
Hit or block. If the stances are different, it is a hit and the attacker takes the square. If both pick the same stance, it is blocked and the square stays empty. The turn passes either way.
Get a line to win the round: 3 in a row on 3×3, 4 on 4×4 and 5 on 5×5. Win the most rounds to take the match.
Rock Paper Scissors duels (pick it on the setup screen): both throw in secret. If the attacker's throw wins, they take the square; if the defender's wins, it is blocked; the same throw is thrown again.
Draws. When nobody can make a line any more, the round ends as a draw by itself. On your turn you can also offer a draw with the ½ button.
Different stances: HIT, the attacker takes the square
Same stance: BLOCKED, the square stays empty
Chaos mode power-ups
Defending means guessing the attacker's stance. Everyone has habits. The computer on Normal and Hard learns yours, so mix it up.
